Charakteristik: Aroma: Sehr und süß, energisch und ohne Kompromiß. Leicht phenolisch und feurig, kräftiger Lakritzeton und Eiche im Verbund.
Geschmack: Wuchtig, ölig, nach dem Einschlag wird er weicher, in der Mitte regelrecht sanft, dann füllt sich der Mund mit verbrannten Tönen von Lakritze und Zuckersirup, süß und voll.
Im Nachklang sehr lange, trocknend, kurze Süße, die eher aufflackert als daß sie klar erkennbar ist. Eichentöne, ölig und wieder verbrannte Noten, das finish jedoch versöhnlich süß.

"This is the eleventh in a series of bottles depicting life in Lynchburg, Tennessee, home of the Jack Daniel Distillery. The Cave Spring here at the Jack Daniel´s Hollow is perfect for making good whiskey. It flows cool and clear at a constant 56 degrees, completely free of iron that can ruin a whiskey´s taste and color. Mr. Jack thought enough of the spring tahat he established his distillery here in 1866. Jack´s nephew, Lem Motlow, honored the spot by raising a statue to Jack black in 1941. Today, Jack´s statue still keeps a watchful eye on the Cave Spring, as do we. Because every drop of our whiskey, enjoyed by our friends arount the world, begins its journey right here."
